Biography

Originally hailing from Falkirk in Scotland, Donna initially moved to London to

attendThe London School of Musical Theatre. However, following

successful auditions the opportunity to work beckoned and Donna decided to forfeit her place

and take on theprofessional world.

Her credits cover repertory, national tours and West End including:

Sally in Me & My Girl,Nancy In Oliver, Miss Hannigan in Annie, Talulah in Bugsy Malone,

Anita in West SideStory, Ella in The Winters Song, Lead Vocalist in Showstoppers 2000, Ethel in The ColePorter Review, the not so female title roles of Aladdin & Dick Whittington and as the

White Face Clown and understudy to the lead role of Charity in the hit circus musical Barnum.

UK Film and television credits include: Blue Peter, Carlton Kids, 'The Bridge' for NHS Scotland.

She has just filmed 'The African Campaign' in London for Jersey Number Nine Productions.

Her charming Celtic tones can be heard on many a voiceover including psychic hotlines,

telephone queuing systems, online casinos and interactive games.

Donna has extensive cabaret & concert experience as a soloist, part of a piano/vocal duo,

big band, swing ensemble, accapella group, cruises, production shows, casinos & corporate

functions, performing jazz, blues, soul, rock & roll, country and swing.

She can also be found working extensively for the corporate theatre company Comment UK,

from prints to direct theatre to conferences and "live" adverts including Magnum 7sins,

Sunsilk, Asda, Comic Relief, Lever Faberge, and the BT Roadshow.

Also a squad trained gymnast & acrobat with experience in Martial Arts, Donna is also a qualified gymnastics coach and has just gained her Zumba Instructor's qualification.

Donna recently returned to the Land of the Bonnie & Brave after 2 years in Los Angeles under

visa sponsorship with a talent manager. Her US credits include a film for the ’Newseum’ in

Washington, a feature on Half Baked Video Games, four plays, the staged reading for

'Made of Honor', filmed recently in Scotland and various voice over’s for people’s personal &

business voice mail!! Ah....the novelty of the Brit!! Bless the Americans!

She also appeared in the hit musical 'Sunshine On Leith' with the

Dundee Rep Theatre Company.
